This is my first read from the great Sandy Sullivan, and all I can say is I should have read this sooner. This is a very good beginning to what is most likely a fantastic series. I love me a good western romance! Hot, alpha male cowboys, beautiful scenery, complicated situations always equal a GOOD TIME!
The story starts out with Natalie returning home to visit and take care of her grandmother. She immediately runs in to an old high school crush of hers. That is when we get introduced to the amazing Cade, ex high school jock who could get any girl he wanted. Just when things are heating up between Natalie and Cade, Cade’s best friend Kale walks in to the picture and Natalie, for the first time, questions whether she can be attracted to both men.
Natalie is very surprised when she learns that the two best friends have shared women in the past. She is VERY attracted to both men, but can one of them give her the dream of the family she always wanted.
I fell in love with Cade and Kale instantly. With their gentlemanly ways and their Hey Darlin’s! Who wouldn’t want to fall in bed with both of them?
“For you, darlin’, I’ll be all those things and more.”
Of course the character that steals the show is definately Grandma. She is a stubborn old woman who only wants the best for her granddaughter.
“I’m kidding, Natalie. Lighten up. The next words had heat crawling up her chest and staining her cheeks a bright red she was sure. Did you put some condoms in your purse? She did not just say that.”
I can’t wait to read the next book in the Montana Coyboys series. Great, funny, well developed characters. Lots of sexual tension throughout the entire read. I had a smile on my face the entire time. I highly recommend this book!
