Book 1 in the Underdogs of the Arena Series
4.47 RATING ON GOODREADS
Genre: Paranormal Erotic Romance

OVERVIEW

As a young independent vampire, Ellen Banks takes the ring, and all eyes are on her. The lithe rebel has worked hard to get to this one moment in her less-than-stellar life. No one will stand in her way of that championship belt, especially not the powerful and impossibly salacious Nash Stanford. If only her traitorous body’s reaction would shut the hell up.

REVIEW

Sexy, Intense, Paranormal Novella! I’m not usually a fan of short stories, but I completely enjoyed Bloodweight! This is book 1 in the Underdogs of the Arena Series, and Eva pulled out all the stops – great character development, sexy and intense plot, hot and heavy sex scenes! Who couldn’t ask for more?

“Fight with your fists, win with your heart.”

Ellen Banks is a feisty, witty, young vampire, who won’t let anyone get in her way of getting what she wants, and she wants the championship. She never wants to be owned by anyone, or anything and she will kick anyone’s ass who thinks differently.

“Here I am, almost dying and you’re thinking about sex? Classy.”

Nash Stanford, the incredibly mouth-watering, sexy vampire sire who runs these fights wants one thing, and one thing only….a great investment, but is that all he sees when he looks at the spirited, tough vampire?

This novella is full of kick ass fighting, steamy sex, quick witted banter, and even some heartfelt moments. Even though this is a short story, it is action packed and will certainly satisfy your paranormal cravings, as it did mine.

This is my first read from the great Eva LeNoir, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.

REVIEW

Ah Stones how you delight me!

In the second installment of the Underdogs of the Arena Series, we get MORE Stones! We barely cracked the surface of the lone shifter in Bloodweight, and I was thrilled that he was getting his own novella!

Questions are answered about Ellen and Nash, but more questions arise about Stones and Sloane. We get more of the sarcastic, witty banter between Ellen and Stones. It warms your heart and cracks me the hell up!

“Fucking hell Stones! Are you getting laid right now?”

I always wondered about Stones, why he was so quiet and intense. It was the heartbreak that he experienced two years ago that left him a shell of a man, but when someone he thought he would never see again, walks back in his life, will it mend his heart or shatter it till there’s nothing left?

Once again Eva is so good at writing intense fight scenes and steamy love sessions! My heart was racing throughout this story and I couldn’t put it down. That little minx does leave us with a cliffhanger, but what good series doesn’t have those, right? Eva LeNoir definitely knows how to keep her readers captivated and begging for more! Bravo on another great story. Bring on the next!

I’m giving this five stars because each installment gets better and better, and Eva got me with this one! Thank you for a great read!
