BLURB

Twenty-one year old Amy Cross’s idea of a hot Saturday night is curling up with her favorite book boyfriend and secretly sneaking a bottle of her mother’s wine. That is, until she meets Austin Sparks, the biker boy with a past that burns like fire and a gaze she can’t look away from. Without knowing what she’s doing or why she’s doing it, Amy ends up on the road with Austin traveling from one city to another while learning things she’s only ever read about in romance novels.

At first it seems like Austin is Amy’s fantasy come true, but as their journey progresses, she starts to sense that Austin is running away from something. Amy knows that she’ll do whatever it takes to help him find himself. What she doesn’t expect is that she’ll lose herself in the process and how good it will feel to be free.

REVIEW

Welcome to the world of Motorcycles, Madness, and Money….

Let me just start off by saying how much I LOVE this cover! It is so beautiful and it is a PERFECT Austin, from his amazing body and beautiful tattoos to the struggling emotions that this picture is showing.

Amy Cross is dying to live out her very own romance novel. She always has a book with her to help her escape a reality that includes a strict mother, abusive father, and an overwhelming population of stupid. When she meets Austin Sparks, she is extremely aware of what she is missing…FREEDOM…oh and Austin’s gorgeous body on top of hers. Austin is fascinated by Amy as soon as they meet. Of course Austin has had his fill off sweet innocent girls in the past, but there is just something about Miss Amy Cross, that keeps him coming back for more. When these two characters come together, sparks fly. The sexual tension in the beginning and the full out amazing sex scenes throughout had me forgetting how to breathe.

“I can’t wait to feel that sense of pain and anguish and longing that’s in my book.”

I had a love/hate relationship with most of the characters in this book. My heart broke for Amy and Austin, but there were times when I would have liked to smack them both upside the head, and yell “What the HELL are you thinking?” I have to admit, I did yell at my Kindle a couple times and almost throw the thing against the wall, but to have a book bring out those kind of emotions in a person, makes you think that the author is heading in the right direction.

“Eternal damnation? This is so worth it.”

Let’s get back to the incredibly feverish sex scenes shall we? Now, this isn’t your run of the mill, boy meets girl, boy whispers sweet nothings to girl, boy makes love to girl. This is man meets girl, man takes girl in the back and fucks her, girl cannot get enough of man. Who knew you could get so turned on by having a man tell you what to do. It takes a certain, southern talkin, tattooed, hunk of a man to pull that attitude off and not make you want to beat the shit out of him.

“Now, step up to your ride on the left side and spread those sweet thighs over your metal, baby.”

Not only was I panting from all the amazing sex scenes, but my heart was pounding with excitement, and all the questions I had, like what the hell is going to happen next? C.M. certainly kept us on our toes and kept us guessing the whole time. I could not put this book down, no matter how hard I tried, it was a VERY late night! This was the first C.M. Stunich book for me, and it made an amazing first impression, so of course, it won’t be the last. I was sad to see that this was a stand alone read, but I’m hoping the author will decide against that and give us a series, because there is so much potential for more great stories out of these fascinating, raw, complicated characters.

Just an FYI….I am SO adding SEX ON THE BACK OF A MOTORCYCLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COUNTRY on my bucket list! That is all! No seriously, go buy this book, you will NOT regret it!
