Here is a FUN question for everyone…..

What is the sexiest setting in a book that you have encountered?

Was it up in a high rise against a window overlooking a beautiful city?

Was it in a hidden cave looking out over the ocean?

Is it on top of an office desk with other employees right outside?

or for my BDSM readers…

Is it in a Dom’s private dungeon where the only voice you hear is Sir’s?

While you are thinking about this question, let’s take a look at this great read by K.C. Falls…

Two people, an ocean, a big fish and a small monkey. She doesn’t trust herself and he can’t remember when he trusted anyone.

(Lara) A spoiled man-whore was a bad idea even for a girl who majored in bad ideas. It was the monkey’s fault I didn’t take my own advice. Mrs. Dalloway caught me way off guard. She stripped him down to his bare humanity and wouldn’t let me throw a blanket over that naked soul. Everything he did was contradicted by all that he was. The little white-faced princess on his shoulder never missed a chance to point that out. Mrs. D was a shameless charmer but honest to her bones. She forced me to look at the truth of him until the reality of Morgan had me hooked.

(Morgan) I agreed too quickly. I thought she’d be a punctured, tatted up, street-smart bitch with the kind of balls it took to hang in a major league pressure cooker of a go-to South Beach restaurant. The only thing I guessed right about was the ‘nads. She had ’em but the package was all wrong. There were waves where I expected spikes, soft where I was looking for hard. Then she schooled me about dear dad’s precious art collection and I realized street wasn’t her only kind of smart. Mrs. D–who knows every wart on my blemished spirit–surprised me with a rare nod of approval. It’s usually a good idea to listen when your best friend has something to say. Even if your best bud is a monkey.

Hooked (The Hunt) is a new adult romance that unfolds in a trilogy, each featuring a high energy adventure that escalates Lara and Morgan’s relationship with physical and emotional challenges. It is intended for mature readers due to explicit content and language.

  1. The sexiest setting would have to be a beach. I recently read A Bridge of the Atlantic by Lisa Hobman, and it had several scenes on the beach…not sexy scenes per say, but it sure had me imagining what it would be like to be on the beach with my hunky husband!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. It’s hard to pick just one because if the author is creative a simple setting is great but I think the one that stands out in my mind is on top of the Empire State building that was pretty wild

  3. The sexiest scene to me would be on the shore by the ocean at night, with the moonlight shimmering off dampened skin, and the chance of getting caught by people taking nighttime strolls along the beach.

  4. It’s heard to pick just one, but I love the ocean. So I would have to say the beach at sunset. Hopefully a deserted beach, otherwise that would be a completely different kind of story

  5. It really depends on the characters and the situation. KA Mitchell’s opening sex scene in COLLISION COURSE takes place in an ambulance, and the frenzied, cramped atmosphere (plus the obvious taboo) really sets the tone. On the other hand, one of the most beloved scenes for me is in a very ordinary setting: when Dante and Griff end up on Dante’s couch in HOT HEAD, the familiarity and unfamiliarity bump up in really touching and sexy ways!

  6. Oh, there are so many that I love! One of my favorites is the H/h getting trapped together and forced to deal with each other.
The setting can be anywhere really. I enjoy seeing the relationship develop. 🙂

  7. The sexiest thing I’ve ever read would be the hero drove the heroine out to a house he was thinking of purchasing for her, it was night, it was snowing, and he put her on his coat which he had laid out on top of the hood of the car and they had sex. Thanks for sharing and for the awesome giveaways. evamillien at gmail dot com
