In search of someplace to belong…Levi Hawkins was a typical fun loving, hard partying college student with his whole life in front of him — until one tragic night ripped his world apart and left him adrift with no home or family to return to. After a soul crushing stint in Afghanistan, he spent a decade wandering the globe searching for something or someone to make him whole again. Weary of regret and consumed by loneliness, he puts his heart on the line and turns to the only people still connected to him by blood.

He found an obsession…

A chance encounter at a lakeside café puts single mother Tori Ford directly in Levi’s path and he’s ready to stake a claim. She wants to keep her life simple. Work hard, raise her daughter, save some money and one day open the pie shop she’s always dreamed of. She doesn’t need complicated and she certainly doesn’t need a wickedly hot Dominant to take control of her future. Except when he touches her she yearns for the pleasure and passion of submission. But Tori can’t take another heartbreak and she can never trust Levi with her heart or her daughter if he won’t open up about the darkness slowly consuming him.

“I’ll take what I want and give what you need. Your body and your pleasure will be mine and mine alone.”

I absolutely loved being pulled back in to the world of stubborn Doms, bratty submissives, and secrets galore! This my friends, is the world of the Purgatory Masters. Full of sexual tension and suspense, book 2 in the Purgatory Masters series LEVI’S ULTIMATUM brings this fantastic series up another level.

If you thought Tucker and Maggie from TUCKER’S FALL had issues, I now introduce you to Levi and Tori. These two broken souls are trying to become whole again. One finally decides to come back home after traveling all over the globe trying to find his way, replacing his loneliness with adrenaline rushes. The other is trying to move on from her past and trying to make the future brighter for her daughter. These two have amazing chemistry and they each have what the other needs. Of course, there is going to be push and pull with this relationship, but once they both accept each other, the end result is simply beautiful.

I have to say that when Levi first met Tori’s daughter Hannah, that had to be the most ADORABLE scene that I have read in a while. Levi definitely had my heart for sure after coloring and discussing pie with that wonderful, little girl. Not only was this story full of beautiful, touching moments, it was full of mystery, scorching love scenes, and emotional ups and downs that had me catching my breath a time or two.

“Brother, you’re in love. Hopelessly, desperately in love. That makes for one powerful submissive.”

I was trying to think if LEVI’S ULTIMATUM could be read as a standalone, and I want to say yes, but then I think about it, and I want to tease you a little bit, so I’m going to say you NEED to read Tucker’s Fall first, not because of any particular spoilers, but it will give you more of a background behind this secret that everyone is keeping, and it will kinda drive you a little crazy….hehehe! Don’t worry you will learn about these secrets soon enough! Just a heads up, Mason will drive you a little crazy with his attitude, (God knows, I wanted to slap him a couple times) but I suspect his attitude will get adjusted when he finds his second half, am I right Eliza?
