Liam “Hunter” Blake hates the Reapers MC. Born and raised a Devil’s Jack, he knows his duty. He’ll defend his club from their oldest enemies—the Reapers—using whatever weapons he can find. But why use force when the Reapers’ president has a daughter who’s alone and vulnerable? Hunter has wanted her from the minute he saw her, and now he has an excuse to take her.

Em has lived her entire life in the shadow of the Reapers. Her overprotective father, Picnic, is the club’s president. The last time she had a boyfriend, Picnic shot him. Now the men in her life are far more interested in keeping her daddy happy than showing her a good time. Then she meets a handsome stranger—a man who isn't afraid to treat her like a real woman. One who isn't afraid of her father. His name is Liam, and he’s The One.

Or so she thinks.

review

The Reapers MC Series by Joanna Wylde is just brilliant! Devil’s Game is just another example of the fantastic writing that comes from this incredible author. Gritty, sexy, and emotional with just the right amount of suspense poured in, your eyes will stay glued to the pages the whole way through. You will be hooked from the very beginning, just like every other book in this phenomenal MC Romance Series.

We get a little taste of Liam “Hunter” Blake in Reaper’s Legacy, Book 2 in the series. But in Devil’s Game, we are on his turf now. This is his story, and we are just along for the incredibly sexy ride. Hunter is a member of the Devil’s Jacks, an old enemy of the Reapers. When his brother gets taken by a Reaper, there is hell to pay. He will do whatever it takes to get him back, if that means taking the Reaper’s Princess and using her as a bargaining chip, then so be it.

Em is the daughter of the Reaper’s MC president, OF COURSE the men in the club are afraid to touch her. If they even look at Picnic’s baby wrong, they might find themselves with a gunshot to the chest. Sick and tired of getting the run around from these Reaper men, she decides to finally meet this stranger that she has been communicating with over the phone. He might be a stranger, but he gets her, he understands what she is going through and doesn’t talk to her like she is a child, but as a wanted woman. All Hell breaks loose when she finds herself kidnapped by this “friend,” who happens to be the enemy. There is this intense attraction, but there is also betrayal. What happens when you start to fall for your captor? Lines blur on both sides, and loyalties are tested. Think of a modern-day Romeo & Juliet, MC Edition.

Every part of this story had me hooked, from the Prologue to the set up to the next story in the series. These character were fantastic. Amazing chemistry, witty and sarcastic banter, and the constant internal struggle between love and loyalty had me racing to get to the next chapter. There were times when Liam and Em were constantly pushing each other and fighting like rabid cats and dogs. Then you would have this bad ass biker and tough, kick ass MC princess talking to each other on the phone like shy teenagers. It was the perfect balance of sexy and sweet.

❝I gave you space, let you go. But you came back, so now you’re fair game. I’m done being the nice guy.❞

Joanna Wylde never fails to leave us readers completely satisfied and anticipating her next release. If you want a non-traditional love story, where the main characters actually have to work hard and get through so many obstacles to be together, this is your story. THIS IS YOUR SERIES! Devil’s Game and the Reaper’s MC Series is bound to be on your favorite’s list this year.
