When Sarah "Red" Ryder loses her job as an art critic for a Boston newspaper, she's brokenhearted. Worse than that? She's broke. Her boyfriend recently left her - for a tatted-up hottie with a dick - so she's stuck paying her hefty apartment rent alone. After two months unemployed, there's no money left. With no immediate family to turn to, Red reaches out to her estranged grandmother, a reclusive writer living on an island off the coast of Charleston. Several days later, Red receives $30,000 and an invitation to visit.

James Wolfe is not Red's grandmother. But he beckons her. Red has the ability to give him something he needs. He won't take "no" for an answer, and he doesn't mind screwing her over. He lost his conscience six years ago, when he was tried for the murder of his wife. Since then, life is about him - and the paintings he does under the mysterious pseudonym "W."

Wolfe needs the island to keep painting. To live his life away from prying eyes. To keep up the anonymity of "W."

Once he sees Red, he finds that he needs her, too. And Wolfe will have her. Any way he can.

**The story of Red & Wolfe will be told in three novellas**

review

❝Get into the boat, Red. I promise you’ll be glad you did.❞

Red & Wolfe, Part One by Ella James is not like the childhood Fairy Tale you remember. This Fairy Tale will have you begging for a cold shower. Sexy, enticing, and very well written, I couldn’t find a better way to spend my Sunday night. This book in hand, along with a glass of wine = perfection. This is a very quick read, and I’ll admit I went through it twice because I didn’t want to miss a thing. This is sure to be a great start to this serial series, and I have no doubt that it will continue to get sexier and sexier with each installment.

Sarah “Red” Ryder is in a bad way. She lost her job, her boyfriend left her, and she is all alone to try to pick up the pieces. Trying to reconnect with her estranged grandmother, she heads off to find the only family she has left. When she arrives at her destination, it’s not her grandmother waiting for her. It is this dark, handsome, intimidating man who has a proposition for her. Give him what he wants, and all of her problems would disappear.

James Wolfe seems like a man who always gets what he wants. He thought all he wanted was to not lose his private, secluded home, but that all changed the minute he laid his eyes on Red. Now, he has her in his grasp, and he will do anything to keep her there.

Red & Wolfe quickly turns into a hot and heavy erotic read. For a minute you forget that you don’t know much about these two characters. You just start to feel the intense connection that they have. By the end of the story, I felt like I haven’t even taken a breath. Since this is a serial you know that the ending will be abrupt, but you will be left extremely excited to see what comes next. I WANT to know more. I NEED to know more.
