After serving her country, Georgia Trulane craves adventure--and sex. She's set her sights on her brother's best friend--now her boss, since she took a temporary job as his nephew's live-in nanny. Only problem? Eric refuses to touch her. That doesn't stop Georgia from seducing him. But an earth-shattering encounter leaves her fully exposed, body and soul.

Eric has a long list of reasons to steer clear of the woman he has wanted for as long as he can remember. For one, he refuses to be her next thrill ride. When he claims her, it will be for good. But the attraction is undeniable, and the more they fight it, the stronger it pulls. But will it be enough to conquer their obstacles?

review

After a traumatic tour in Afghanistan Georgia took a job as her brother’s best friend’s nanny. Eric has taken on the role of parent to his nephew after the boy’s parents were suddenly killed. Two people struggling to find their way in their new roles and learning how those roles define them. Georgia has always loved Eric, ever since she was practically a child and Eric always thought of Georgia as untouchable due to his friendship with her brother. Georgia is a strong and independent woman. Someone who has seen some of the worst the world has to offer and yet she keeps trying to find ways to make her life special and worthwhile sometimes that means leaning on others which Eric soon realizes he wants to be that person, but could it be too late? Eric is a successful, sexy man with not a whole lot of charm, almost on the gruff side. Love has not always been good to him.

“By the time you were sixteen, you believed everyone who said they loved you would walk away”- Eric

He is trying to run a profitable company, raise his four-year old nephew and due to his internal war he is trying to avoid the temptation that is Georgia. This book takes you through a lot of emotions and the characters are in-depth and relatable. The sex is pretty damn hot too.

“In my fantasies, you’re very talented with your mouth. I’ve spent years wondering what it would feel like to have your tongue trailing down over my stomach, to have you on your knees moving lower and lower”- Georgia

The journey, the passion and the heart this book provides is spectacular. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
