Beautiful, curvy Ravyn Templeton saw Zane Ramsey in a BDSM club in Houston three years ago. He's haunted her dreams ever since.
Zane is an Assistant District Attorney and co-owner of Club Mystique, the BDSM club he and his brothers built on their Texas ranch. When Ravyn's ex-husband is arrested for trying to have her killed, the case is assigned to Zane.
The moment Zane meets Ravyn he wants her and even though he knows having an affair with her will jeopardize his career, he can't resist her. When Ravyn's ex-husband accuses her of laundering money for a drug cartel, and she refuses to answer Zane's questions, he leaves her.
Fate in the form of Addison Ramsey steps in and brings them together again and again. Zane has the power to save Ravyn but only if he loves her enough to fight for her.
Ravyn Templeton has secrets she is forced to hiding to ensure the safety of the people she loves. The secrets she hides may land her in prison, but she is committed to do what it takes to keep her loved ones out of harm’s way and that includes the only man she has ever really loved. She is willing to risk her chance at love and happiness Zane Ramsey is an Assistant District Attorney and co-owner of Club Mystique, a BDSM club. He is sexy as hell and a very demanding Dom. As a DA is finds himself questioning everything about Ravyn, bit as a Dom his instincts are telling him she is the one for him. All is wants is the truth and to possess Ravyn, but he may have to choose between which one he wants more.
I loved this story. Ravyn is a strong woman. I dislike when authors make a submissive women weak just because they serve their Doms. Ravyn may bend to Zane’s command, but weak she is not. Having survived an attempt on her life by her ex-husband and making sure the people around her are taken care of no matter the risk was inspiring. Zane’s inner conflict about doing what he thinks is right and what his gut is telling him is powerful and causes for some seriously intense electricity between him and Ravyn. The bedroom (or non-bedroom in many cases) is pretty exhilarating. The only negative I can say about this book, which is my fault, is this is book 4 so I was missing the back stories of the other characters. But you better believe I am going to go back and read them.
