Did you want a pat little ending about Jonathan and I riding off into the sunset? Did you want flowers and stars? Man, I wish it was all soft filters and violins. I wish we could fight about who cleaned the bathroom or who was cooking dinner. But I knew I was never destined for simple contentment.

I almost committed murder for him. I almost tore us apart to save him. How do you get back on the horse after that? Because, I promise you, nothing is the same. Nothing.

I’ve earned our happily ever after. Now I have to survive it.

mythoughts

CODA absolutely CANNOT be read as a standalone. This is VERY important. It is not my intention to post any spoilers, but it IS my intention to get you psyched up enough to run out and start this series RIGHT AWAY!

These characters, this series, this book, my GOD, THIS BOOK….FUCKING BRILLIANT and frighteningly ADDICTIVE! Sensual, raw, and ridiculously emotional, I don’t think I took a breath throughout this entire read. I worship CD Reiss and EVERY. SINGLE. THING. this woman writes! If you are looking for a series that will rock your entire world, and leave you in shock and awe, the SONGS OF SUBMISSION series is the way to go! NOTHING, and I mean nothing, can beat this woman’s writing style. I get blown away more and more with each addition to the series, and CODA just takes the cake!

I remember the day that an author friend of mine recommended BEG, book 1 in the series, to me. That was the day I was introduced to the power and greatness of CD Reiss. I devoured book 1 in like an hour, and I immediately, I’m talking within seconds of finishing up, I purchased TEASE, book 2. And this went on an on throughout the night. I would finished one and immediately get the next one. I was in a haze. I was addicted. I was a goner. Jonathan and Monica took my heart and just ran away with it. They held it hostage for so long, and I’m finally seeing it again in CODA.

These two have gone through Hell and back, fighting for their love, fighting for their happily ever after. Now, they are living life with a countdown of a time clock. They are acting like different people now, tip toeing day by day, waiting for the other shoe to drop. There is distance replacing the closeness that they once shared. Jonathan misses his Goddess. Monica misses her King. He yearned for her surrender. She yearned for the voice of her King, the voice of her one and only Master.

“Invictus.”

“Tangerine.”

A couple lost. A couple broken. A couple, suffering over a tragic event that changed their lives forever.

Will love, devotion, and hope wash away the fear, the nightmares, and the guilt?

CODA will give you the Happily Ever After you have been waiting for.

She is his. He is hers. Hope is the key.

About CD Reiss

CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up she’s at the well hauling buckets.

Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.

She’s frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn’t ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood.

If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
