Cole Masten. Abandoned by his superstar wife, Hollywood’s Perfect Husband is now Hollywood’s Sexiest Bachelor: partying hard and screwing even harder. Watch out Los Angeles, there's a new bad boy in town.
Summer Jenkins. That’s me, a small town girl stuck in Quincy, Georgia. I cook some mean chicken and dumplins, can bluff a grown man out of his savings in poker, and was voted Most Friendly my senior year.
We were from different worlds. Our lives shouldn’t have collided. But then Cole Masten read a book about my small town. And six months later, his jet landed on our dusty airstrip, and he brought Hollywood with him.
From the start, I knew he was trouble. For our town. And for me.
Sometimes, opposites just aren’t meant to attract..
It is incredibly hard to find the right words to describe this book and do it justice. All I know is that Alessandra Torre is a beautiful genius! I completely lost myself in this book from page one. For a few hours NOTHING else existed but these characters and their story. I didn’t blink. I didn’t breathe. I didn’t sleep. This book surrounded me and I didn’t want to come up for air. It teased all my senses, leaving me in a completely blissful state of mind. Ms. Torre sucked me in and everything else was a blur. I fell in love with Cole and Summer. I fell in love with their story and I fell in love with this town. Alessandra Torre is one of the elite. She is in a category all her own. Novel after novel she brings something new, something fresh to the table and I devour it every single time.
This was an enthralling, emotional romance about taking risks. It’s about finding yourself, finding your love, your passion, and the other half of your soul. This was EASILY one of my FAVORITE reads of the year!
