A full-length, standalone romance from the New York Timesbestselling author of Archer's Voice.
Kira Dallaire is desperate.
Some challenges in life seem too hard to overcome. With little money, and even fewer options, the quick-witted and vibrant twenty-two-year-old needs to reinvent herself. Known for her generous heart and impulsive personality, she devises a survival plan, possibly her most outrageous idea yet.
Grayson Hawthorn is losing hope.
Some obstacles in life seem too hard to overcome. Betrayal definitely being one of them. With limited capital, and dwindling resources, he is attempting to resurrect his failing family vineyard, a self-imposed vow seemingly destined to fail. That is until a young woman enters his office with an outlandish, unexpected proposition impossible to refuse.
What begins as a temporary business arrangement, soon evolves into more as vivacious, spirited Kira challenges detached, arrogant Grayson to want more from life. To want more for himself. But as their wills clash and fiery passion ignites, they'll realize that sometimes the past creates walls too difficult to climb, and that lies and deception rarely precede a happily every after.
As Kira and Grayson race toward their destiny, they will discover that some vows are meant to be broken, and others are worth risking everything for . . . even your very own heart.
THIS IS A STANDALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY LIBRA. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
BEST Mia Sheridan book to date! BEST book of the year! Superb writing! Magnificent storytelling! Impressive! Breathtaking! Absolutely STUNNING! I wanted to crawl inside this book and live forever! This sexy and emotional enemies to friends to lovers romance was written with such grace and elegance that it just brought me to my knees. It was impossible to put down, unthinkable to look away, hopeless to escape this incredible world that Mia Sheridan created. I came away truly amazed by what this talented author created here. THIS right here…is romance at its finest!
Desperate times call for desperate measures in Mia Sheridan’s latest Sign of Love novel. Two people in turmoil, desperate enough to risk shame and embarrassment to keep from failing. One just wants a taste at freedom, the other has a vow to fulfill. Both have been surrounded by darkness because of their past. An arrangement is made that ends up changing their lives forever.
I fell in love with Kira Dallaire right away. I loved her spirit, her tenacity, her wit and her charm. She is confident, outgoing, sassy, and can definitely hold her own. Her crazy, outlandish ideas were amazing, and I loved how she made pros and cons lists for all of them. When you read about her past and what she has been through, your heart will ache for her. You witness the vulnerable side of the stunning redhead and you just want to reach out and hug her, become her best friend, someone who she can confide in.
And my my my, Grayson Hawthorn. He was a mystery at first. He is arrogant, charming (at times), frustrating, cocky, and presumptuous. He is one of those lost souls you can’t help but want to reach out and heal him. Behind that cocky attitude and hella’ good looks, stands a vulnerable boy who doesn’t think he is of any worth. His past will split your heart wide open.
Together, these two run HOT and COLD. When they are cold, they are frigid towards one another. But when they are HOT, well let’s just say, the FIRE, the HEAT between them is absolutely explosive. Get ready for one HELL of an erotic scene involving multiple varieties of grapes. Quick to judge and irritable from their situations, despite all of their bickering and fighting, they are drawn to one another. It’s unexplainable. It’s magnetic. It’s magic. It’s hope.
GRAYSON’S VOW will be BOOK OF THE YEAR for me. I guarantee it. This tremendous story made my stomach drop and my heart fill with such warmth. This is a story of hope, passion, and taking a leap of faith. This is about taking risks, living life, and following your heart. I didn’t want to let go of this story, of these characters. I want to embed my soul into this book and never ever let go. Mia Sheridan brings the genre to a whole new level. Her talent is magnificent and her writing consumes every part of me. And the EPILOGUE, oh god, the EPILOGUE! Even after all of my rambling, I don’t feel like I did this book review justice. Just please believe me when I say, BUY THIS BOOK! Romance readers, you NEED this book on your shelves. TRUST ME!
