Three months touring Europe.
Romantic. Dazzling. Unforgettable.
The trip of a lifetime.
But some lifetimes are shorter...
We couldn’t have known it would work out this way.
No one could. No one could’ve guessed that something so beautiful could be so tragic.
But it is tragic.
Yet so, so beautiful.
That’s what sacrifice is—beauty and tragedy.
It’s pain and suffering for something or someone you love.
And this is the ultimate sacrifice.
One stunning act of true love.
This is our story.
Our true love story.
This book was so VERY VERY personal and it made me FEEL so SO much! I applaud Michelle for sharing this very moving, beautiful, and heartbreaking story about the REAL kind of love. There was not ONE single page where I didn’t shed a tear. It was a REALLY tough journey, but one that will ultimately change your life. EVERY SINGLE one of you should experience this book!
THE EMPTY JAR is not a romance, but it IS a story of true love, a love so beautiful, so life changing, so incredibly important…a love you won’t find in any romance out there. THE EMPTY JAR is a story about love that goes behind life. It’s emotional to the MAX, and every single page is as important as the last. When a book touches you so deeply, it’s incredibly hard to put into words what it truly meant to you. That’s how it is for an emotional reader like myself. I’ve always enjoyed and immersed my whole self in M. Leighton’s books, but something about this one called to me deeper than the rest. While most girls are looking for their prince charming or their perfect alpha male…I’m looking for a love more transcendent…a love that brings you your soul mate, the pure and raw kind of love that stands the test of time. The author gives us a little bit of her soul in her latest novel, and I will be forever grateful for it. Michelle, you are my hero, and I want to say THANK YOU for showing us your heart in this book. AND thank you for the tremendous UGLY CRY, because lord knows I needed it.
