First we were friends. Then we were roommates. Now I want more…

What can I say about Chess Copper? The woman is capable of bringing me to my knees. I know this about five minutes after getting naked for her.

No one is more surprised than me. The prickly photographer my team hired to shoot our annual charity calendar isn’t my usual type. She’s defense to my offense, a challenge at every turn. But when I’m with her, all the regrets and darkness goes away. She makes life fun.

I want to know Chess, be close to her. Which is a bad idea.

Chess is looking for a relationship. I’ve never given a woman more than one night. But when fate leaves Chess without a home, I step up and offer her mine. We’re roommates now. Friends without benefits. But it’s getting harder to keep our hands off each other. And the longer we live together the more I realize she’s becoming my everything.

Trick is… Now that I’ve made her believe I’m a bad bet, how do I convince her to give this player a true shot at forever?

Absolutely PHENOMENAL! I’m struggling to find words that would even do it justice, but OMG, Finn Mannus is EVERYTHING!!! This breathtaking and emotionally driven, friends-to-lovers romance pulled me in and wouldn’t let me go! I have no hesitation whatsoever in naming this book one of THE BEST romances of the year!

“Tell me again that I’m a bad bet. Because I can’t wait to prove you wrong.”

THE HOT SHOT is part of Kristen Callihan’s Game On Series, but it can definitely be read as a standalone. In fact, I’ve only read one other book in this series and it was FANTASTIC as well. Each book in the series showcases a new couple and if you are a fan or a newbie, you will LOVE it nonetheless. And even though I’ve only read one other in the series, I’m still professing that this is my absolutely FAVORITE of this series. Finn and Chess were fascinating from the very start! The banter between the two was smart, witty, and hilarious. It was also laced with a perfect combination of sexy and sweet. I laughed. I cried. I cringed. I sighed. But in the end, my heart was made full by the brilliance that is Kristen Callihan’s emotional writing.

“You’re going to be okay, Chester.”

“How can you know that?”

“Because I’m making it my job to see that you are.”

Oh, be still my heart, Finn is just EVERYTHING guys…just EVERYTHING! I fell, and I fell SO HARD for these two. I rooted for them from the very start, and although their journey was a tough and emotional one, in the end, it was ALL WORTH IT!

This book will BREATH LIFE into your heart and soul. You will FEEL everything with each turn of the page. THE HOT SHOT is laced with EMOTION, PASSION, and LOVE. It will make you a believer in fate, and it will absolutely capture your entire being. When the last page was turned, I wanted to read it all over again. There is no going back once you immerse yourself into a Kristen Callihan romance. It’s EVERYTHING you could have EVER wanted in a romantic escape!
