I was born into British aristocracy, but I’ve made my fortune in Manhattan. New York is now my kingdom.

Back in Britain my family are fighting over who’s the next Duke of Fairfax. The rules say it’s me--if I’m married. It’s not a trade-off worth making. I could never limit myself to just one woman.

Or so I thought until my world is turned upside down. Now, the only way I can save the empire I built is to inherit the title I’ve never wanted-- so I need a wife.

To take my mind off business I need a night that’s all pleasure. I need to bury myself in a stranger.

The skim of Scarlett King’s hair over my body as she bends over . . .

The scrape of her nails across my chest as she screams my name . . .

The bite of her teeth on my shoulder just as we both reach the edge . . .

It all helps me forget.

I just didn’t bargain on finding my one night stand across the boardroom table the next day.

She might be my latest conquest but I have a feeling Scarlett King might just conquer me.

A sexy, standalone romance.

Who is this Louise Bay and where the HELL has she been all my life? I absolutely LOVE finding new to me authors. I love immersing myself in a brand new romance, and it ending up knocking my socks off! DUKE OF MANHATTAN was recommended to me from a fellow blogger and the first thing that caught my eye was of course, the sexy suit porn on the book cover. I might be in the minority here, but I may prefer a sexy man in a well-fitted suit rather than yards and yards of pecs on my book covers. And then came the synopsis, and after that I was just HOOKED! A sexy and cocky brit gets knocked to his knees by a sassy, independent woman? Ah, yes please! Scarlett and Ryder were just PURE MAGIC together! Once I read the first page, there was absolutely NO WAY I was setting this sucker down until the end.

“You think you’re funny?”

“Sometimes.”

“Well, I’m going to fuck the funny right out of you.”

OMG! You guys! I highlighted the HELL out of this book! I wish I could give them all to you, but just know that they get dirtier and dirtier and you will FREAKING LOVE IT! I laughed. I swooned. I sighed. I begged for more. The DUKE OF MANHATTAN was EVERYTHING I could ever possibly want in a contemporary romance. I fell in love with both Scarlett and Ryder and when these two got together, it was like FIREWORKS all night long. The passion…the emotion…the intensity…the push/pull of their relationship was just so delicious. I never wanted it to end!

“I’m scared.”

“Whatever it is that you’re afraid of, I’ll stand between you and it my whole life.”

Okay, so this might be one of THE BEST quotes I’ve ever read in my life! When I read this, I just melted into a big pile of feels. I read it over and over and over again. When you have two sentences that just makes my heart burst, you have made a fan for life. Louise Bay might be a new-to-me author, but she has scored some MAJOR POINTS with Ryder and Scarlett’s book. I’m a goner. I’m addicted. I’m absolutely smitten with Ms. Bay’s writing and I can’t wait to get my hands on MORE!

About Louise Bay

USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels – the kind she likes to read. Her books include the novels Faithful (not currently on sale as undergoing maintenance!), Hopeful, The Empire State Series, The Nights Series (a series of standalones alone books each following different characters) and King of Wall Street.

Ruined by romantic mini-series of the eighties, Louise loves all things romantic. There’s not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films.

Louise loves the rain, The West Wing, London, days when she doesn’t have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne.
