She'll defy his every expectation.

She’s Penna Carstairs.
The Renegade they call Rebel.
FMX-treme Magazine’s sexiest female athlete of the year.
There’s no rule in extreme sports she hasn’t broken,
No gender barrier she hasn’t demolished.

She’s the woman I met in a bar in Vegas.
The woman I illegally BASE jumped for.
The woman I spent one insane, incredible night with.
But now I’m screwed.
Or rather…not screwed.

Because the woman I can’t get out of my head is the one woman I can never touch again.
I’m Dr. Cruz Delgado—the youngest professor on this campus,
And Penelope Carstairs just walked into my class.

Ok, don’t throw anything at me but REBEL is my very first read from this series AND from this author, period. I know! I’m so behind the ball on the greatness that is Rebecca Yarros’ writing. Believe me, once I finished REBEL, I wanted to binge this series SO FREAKING HARD because these characters are EVERYTHING!

REBEL was a high-octane SMASH HIT of a romance and I NEVER wanted it to end! The whole way through, I kept thinking to myself that this story belongs on the big screen! I could see it playing out so vividly in my mind, it was just crazy! REBEL, aka Penna Carstairs, aka Penelope, is a certified BADASS! I mean seriously, if I were into women, I would absolutely be IN LOVE, but we shall settle for being completely enamored by her spirit, her sassiness, her confidence, her EVERYTHING! I want to be her when I grow up, even though I’m already 33 years old. And don’t even get me started on Dr. Cruz Delgado! WOW! His forbidden obsession with Penelope was spine-tingling. At the beginning you knew what was going to happen because it’s all in the blurb, but it still sent a shock through my system when I read it. An author who can surprise you like that, even when you know what is coming, now THAT is some damn good talent!

REBEL was a fast-paced thrill ride of a sexy romance that had me HOOKED INSTANTLY! I only regret I didn’t meet these characters sooner, but no worries because the minute I finished REBEL, I went and purchased the first two in the series. I don’t even care that I know how it all ends up. It’s the journey that matters here. In the end, I’m SO FREAKING STOKED that I found this author. Her writing style and her character development is ON POINT and right up my alley. Ms. Yarros has made a brand new FAN with her latest release and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next! Fans of the series may be saying FAREWELL to The Renegades, but I’m just getting started!

About Rebecca Yarros

Rebecca Yarros is a hopeless romantic and a lover of all things coffee, chocolate, and Paleo. She is the author of the Flight & Glory series, including Full Measures, the award-winning Eyes Turned Skyward, Beyond What is Given, and Hallowed Ground. Her new Renegade Series features Wilder and the upcoming Nova, and is sure to keep your heart pounding. She loves military heroes, and has been blissfully married to hers for fourteen years.

When she’s not writing, she’s tying hockey skates for her four sons, sneaking in some guitar time, or watching brat-pack movies with her two daughters. She lives in Colorado with the hottest Apache pilot ever, their rambunctious gaggle of kids, an English bulldog who is more stubborn than sweet, and a bunny named General Fluffy Pants who torments the aforementioned bulldog. They recently adopted their youngest daughter from the foster system, and Rebecca is passionate about helping others do the same.
